Acai Bowl

What really are these acai bowls everyone’s talking about!?  it’s basically a really thick smoothie that you can top with granola and fruit. You can have it for breakfast, lunch or as a snack. Acai has so many health benefits including burning excess fat, slowing the ageing process, lowering high cholesterol and increase energy just to name a few.

Acai is a berry that grows in over 6.1 million acres of the Amazon rainforest. When harvested correctly, it retains an incredibly high concentration of antioxidants and an array of other nutrients such vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, vitamin C, vitamin E, and vitamin-K. Contains very good amounts of niacin, vitamin B-6 and riboflavin. Acai berries also contain a variety of minerals including magnesium, zinc, calcium, copper, and potassium. You can have it as a smoothie or a bowl.

Recipe:

1 acai frozen brick (i use amazonia)

1 frozen banana

1 whole green apple

1 scoop of organic mixed berries

1/4 cup of coconut water

1 scoop of the beauty chef body protein powder

5 grams of glow inner beauty powder from the beauty chef

 

Add all ingredients into a vitamix, blend and serve with your favourite granola.
